meet the makers
Howdy! We are Bre and Bill, the folks behind Stoked Suds. Our goal is to provide simple, scratch-made soap that is reminiscent of adventure and our love of "Type 2 Fun".
Stoked Suds began as a means to bring our passion for the outdoors into our home. With a mutual love for science (mechanical engineer and ER nurse, here), it became a quick obsession. Switching to natural, biodegradable soap bars not only improved how our skin feels and looks, but it's helped us significantly reduce our plastic consumption.
We are grateful you are here to tag along on this journey! Whatever your stoke, we've got your sud.
our process
Each bar is carefully crafted using a cold process formula. This means our soaps are handmade by combining oils and butters with sodium hydroxide (lye). Once the bars are fully cured (around 4-6 weeks), what remains is a safe and beautiful soap! We pride ourselves on using only the highest quality ingredients and equipment. By creating and packaging each product ourselves, we truly offer small-batch and scratch-made goods.
Additionally, as a company rooted in science, we recognize the significance in providing an effective and safe product.
in other words:
- Recipes are thoroughly researched, developed, and tested
- We adhere to scientific protocols for safe production
- Equipment and workspaces are meticulously sanitized
- Goods are handled and stored using hygienic standards
